A chilly winter morning with Allie & Brian 🤍

I love incorporating personal touches to my couples engagement photos and this day did not miss! We visited the spot where Brian proposed, the apartments B&A were living in early in their relationship, and a cafe nearby to do the morning crossword - a hobby that Allie and Brian love to do together.

We had so much fun walking all around Boston - it felt like we were laughing and smiling the whole time!

We love our little 700 square foot apartment so much 🥹 This place holds so many special memories and I wanted to capture some of that in these photographs. With a space this small, every corner needs to be intentional and we certainly use every inch of space 😂

Some fun facts about our home:

• We’ve lived here for 3 years

• Sam found this place because the apartment above it went up for rent - the day he came to tour it they mentioned this unit also just opened up for our lease date and he fell in love instantly. We actually signed the lease before I even saw it in person!

• We both work remotely so we spend a lot of time together and it never gets old 🥹

• Though our “dining table” only seats 2 (it’s really a cafe table) we love to host and have had many cozy evenings around the coffee table - our favorite time to host is Christmas. We always get a real tree and love decorating the mantle with greens and stockings🎄

• We’re both under 5’4” but the ceilings in here are 15’ 🪜

EDIT: Had to add that I scheduled this post a few weeks ago before we got engaged - this apartment is even more special now 💍🥹

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite celebration - there is something about gathering around a table with people you love that is so comforting. These two opted to ditch the classic engagement session and instead they invited me to their wedding welcome party and we took pictures in the space before the full crowd rolled in! I love incorporating activities into my shoots and what better way to do this than by having a whole bakery & ice cream parlor to yourself?!

I love the way Rebecca and Lannon’s rehearsal ‘fits tied into their overall feel for their wedding weekend. Even more, I love the way their excitement and overall peace with each other shines through in their “engagement” and wedding portraits 🥹

Portugal Part 2 (finally!)

I’ll admit it, when I book a trip I always research what the destination looks like. I want to fill my days with visions that fit my aesthetic and look beautiful, who wouldn’t?!

But for this trip I held back (as much as I could) and I waited to be surprised. I wanted to experience pure joy and excitement when I turned around winding street corners.

I continuously put my camera away and whipped it back out with glee.

Travel brings this out in us - a change of surroundings provides a change of mentality.

Let’s take a new perspective into our day to day life and find beauty in the mundane.
